Richard Holt named Fellow of the APS
The American Physical Society, the world's second largest organization of physicists, has elected Dr. Richard Holt to the Fellowship.
This election is in recognition by his peers, of Dick's outstanding contributions to physics.
The citation will read, "For a landmark proposal to test Bell's inequality, and high-precision experiments of key significance to test quantum electrodynamics in two-electron atomic ions."January update: See the latest Faculty of Science news article on this award.
