The Polar Environment Atmospheric Research Laboratory (PEARL), shown above, was highlighted by the Globe and Mail on Jan. 20, 2014.

In doing the research for the article, author Ivan Semeniuk was given a tour of the PEARL facility by Western Physics and Astronomy doctoral candidate Emily McCullough, shown with LIDAR equipment in photo below.
