| Objective |
To complete a bike rally in the fastest

Teams of up to four. |
| Materials |
Each team will provide its own bicycle. |
| Rules |
- The bicycle will need a support across the handle bars to hold
a watch with second hand and the a map. Speedometers or distance
meters are not allowed.
- You will be given directions concerning the route and speeds
5 minutes before departure. The directions will be in the form
of kinematic graphs and "hints" for turns.
- The race will be divided into sections separated by checkpoints.
Times will be recorded at each checkpoint. Times will be recorded
at each checkpoint. A variation is to have the teams carry out
a scientific task at each checkpoint.

| Judging |
- Will be done via
time taken between checkpoints.
- The awarding of
points will be in an inverse proportion to the time taken to complete
each section (shortest time wins).
- Final scoring will
include marks for accuracy on each checkpoint.
