| Objective |
Each team builds a device
which will throw an egg (approx. 60g) as far as possible using only
the energy which can be stored in two rubber bands (i.e. #73). |

Gain experience in projectile
motion , energy and collisions. |

Teams of up to
four. |
| Materials |
Are left to the discretion
of the participants. |
| Rules |
The egg may not be altered
in any way and must survive the
lob unbroken. |
| Judging |
The team whose egg travels
the greatest horizontal distance scores 100 points. Other teams
lose 4 points for each centimeter less than the maximum distance. |
