Optic Maze
Objective To direct a laser beam through a preset maze; to hit a set target.
Purpose To learn some optics.
Participants: Teams of up to four.
Materials Laser, mirrors and/or a prism will be supplied by the judges.
  1. Each team will be given 10 minutes to set up the optical devices.
  2. The laser will be turned on after the optical devices are set in place. The location of the laser beam will be marked.
  3. There will be NO trial run.
Judging The team whose laser beam strikes closet to the target will be the winner.
