||To determine the mass of an object.
||To investigate the physics of teeter-totters.
||Teams of up to four.
||Scales and teeter totter (both provided).
- Students are to determine the mass of an object on the end of
a teeter totter.
- Students may move the fulcrum (pivot point) as needed.
- Students will be used as "masses" to balance the
teeter totter, (sitting on the ends of the swing).
||Points will be given according to how close the team
comes to the actual mass.
