| Objective |
Each team will build a device to transport
a 60 gram egg a distance of 5 metres as quickly as possible using
the energy of a rubber band. |

Teams of up to four. |
| Materials |
The rubber band will be supplied, as will
the raw egg. |
| Rules |
- The course is 5 metres long. It is level and terminates in a
concrete block wall.
- A raw egg weighing at least 60 grams must be used.
- The egg must not be altered in any way and must complete the
course and be returned to the judge unbroken (and uncracked).
- In the event of a tie, there will be a re-run using a new band
and fresh egg.

The egg which crosses the start line and
touches the wall in the shortest time wins. |
