To use any or all items in the box of
junk provided to create a variety of musical instruments.
Participants
Teams of up to six.
Materials
Junk Box - metal garbage can containing - scissors, string, duct
tape, sandwich bag containing popcorn seeds, wood dowel lengths,
clay flower pot, metal rod, 2 soup spoons, 2 pieces of chalk, 2
pop cans
with lids, one Al pie plate, 6 straws, 24" garden hose, + ???
Rules
Each team will create their instruments and use them to play their
rendition of "e.g. Jingle Bells". Duration = 30-45 seconds.
Judging
Judging is based on the variety of instruments created and the
quality of the music produced.
