Physics 2600 - Introduction to Medical Physics

Course description: An introduction to key physical principles as applied to medical imaging and radiation therapy. Topics covered will include: imaging metrics, ionizing radiation and radiation safety, radioactivity, radiation therapy, computed tomography, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and magnetic resonance imaging.
