Outreach

People collaborating in P&A Building

The Department of Physics & Astronomy is pleased to bring the sciences of physics and astronomy to a wide audience both within and outside of the university community.

Whether through programming offered through the Hume Cronyn Memorial Observatory, our annual Elizabeth Laird Memorial Lecture which brings a leading physicist to campus to share the excitement of their research with the general public, or via outreach to younger audiences in classrooms, we bring unique, tailored, and engaging ideas and research stories to life.
